the patient, the patient's location, admission and discharge details, bed

This module deals with the appointment scheduling for consulting doctors,
laboratory test appointments and operation theatre appointments and provides an
easy to use interface to make appointments.

| In Patient/Out Patient Billing |

The In-Patient Billing System is intended to automate the activities of the
Billing Section like Posting of Vouchers, Preparation of Intermediate / Final
Bills, Generation of Income Analysis Statements, etc. This can be linked to the
other modules of the Health Care System like the Reception for Bill Collection,
Drug Store Management for details of Medicines issued, Wards for details of
tests / treatments etc.

| Laboratory |
|
This module is designed to computerise the administrative functions in a
Diagnostic Centre right from Test Requisitioning to Billing, Result Entry and
Report Printout. This can be used in Diagnostic Centers operating independently
or those attached to hospitals. In Hospitals it can be linked to the Reception,
which handles OP Registration and Billing, and to the Wards for direct
requisitioning and automatic updating of IP case sheets with Test Results.

|
The Ward Module is designed to facilitate efficient management of IP related
operations like Drug Request to Pharmacy, Drug Administration, Investigation
Requisitioning, Case Sheet maintenance, Status Recording, Bed Transfers, Diet
etc. This will be linked to the Reception, Billing, Drug Store Management and
Laboratory.

| Operation Theatre |

This module deals with the operation theater activities such as pre-anesthetic
check-ups, pre-anesthetic notes generation, recording the anesthesia details,
maintaining the list of procedures for various operations, recording operation
details and maintaining the OT scheduling

| Duty Roster |
|
This module handles information related to allocation of doctors, nurses and
other staff during various types of shifts at different locations such as
wards, OTs and OPD.

| Blood Bank |
|
The Blood Bank module provides information on collection and stock of blood and
its components and on results of tests, cross matching identifications and
transfusion reaction. It also keeps information on donor's mailing list and
donation ledgers.

| Drug Store Management |
|
This module deals with all medical items. The activities include generating
indents, issues to patients, returns, updating daily stock position, stock
adjustments etc. Enquiry screens include viewing daily stock position, sub
store-wise stock enquiry etc.

This module deals with cash/bank, receipts/payments and journal vouchers
etc. Various books of accounts are maintained using this module. Books like
cash book, bank book and ledgers can be generated. This module also generates
reports like trial balance, balance sheet and profit and loss statement.

|
The Payroll Module handles any combination of pay types and pay frequencies,
and presents employee records and payroll information in a easy to use manner.
Employee details can be stored in as much detail as required, complete with
full personnel details and job history.

give the user accurate reports for easy decision making.
